In a world where technology has become a major influence in our lives and computers have become an integral part of everything we do, the joy and beauty of writing is slowly dying out. I, however, still prefer to take class notes on paper, as there is a certain satisfaction of writing which allows me to make my work truly mine. The feeling of holding a pen and gradually creating shapes and letters on paper is unparalleled. I therefore wanted to design my very own ‘Scribe’ – a pen that was not just a writing instrument but also connected with the origins of writing. The earthy copper finish, combined with rustic elements makes Scribe a joy to hold and write with. With this design, I have aimed to create a small bridge between history, culture and nostalgia, making it a collector’s piece to treasure and pass down generations.
